Alas, I do not have targets to show, groups to measure, or quantitative analysis like many of my other posts. But, I have some basic anecdotal observations. While not as smooth as refined as a Smith, it works just fine. Plus, I liked the matte stainless finish.
The trigger does have a slight “hitch” before it fires… almost like a 2-stage trigger. In that respect, it doesn’t bother me at all. That is, all signs except the dollar signs! I love my Smiths but at $600 (for a used specimen), I couldn’t justify a purchase for something I wanted as a “knock around” revolver. I own a Browning Buckmark, so I didn’t need just another rimfire. 22 WMR, 4.2', 6rd, Stainless.Ģ2 that my young boys can learn on in the future. Charters Pathfinder is a great introductory revolver for the novice shooter.
It has the look, feel and weight of a higher-caliber revolver, allowing you to gain proficiency while using relatively inexpensive.
